I got this text message today from my friend Brian:

“Are you going to mow today? I will be mowing from 11:00-11:20 and then again from 12:15-12:45.”

This is the difference between Brian and I. Yesterday I didn’t even know that I was going to buy a car, not to mention if I was going to mow today or what time I might be doing that. Ever since my mower broke, Brian has been gracious enough to let me shoot rocks around my yard with his mower. So scheduling is important… to Brian.

Brian does get loads done in a day though. So much so that I still haven’t really been able to figure out how. Up till recently he has been working for Compassion, booking for Shaun, working on adopting some kids, and still has time to hang out in the yard.

Maybe there is something to this whole freak scheduling thing.

I would love to see you try the scheduling thing for one day. I think it would drive you crazy. Some people are just not cut out for it but I think one day of it for you would make for great blog topics

Hey… nothing wrong with scheduling. Also, nothing wrong with spontaneity. If there weren’t both, I would probably lead a somewhat boring life. And you, …who knows really.

So I have been living under a rock for the past week…aka, abnormal amounts of school work…but I just wanted to say it sounds like you had a nice, crazy week…and The Alarm Clock should not be a super hero, he should be a super villain…whose side kick would be The Freak Scheduler (not really…just thought it sounded fun).

I don’t personally know a lot of people who do freak scheduling….but, I do know a lot of FREAKS who NEED SCHEDULING……I believe there to be a slight difference between the two.

obviouly you have not found the answer yet?

Comment by Shawn Bashor

What was the question?

Comment by livngfragrance

I don’t think I asked a question.

Comment by brodyharper

Yeah…I think Shawn is trying to be clever, but my understanding of clever goes out the window with sleep deprivation.

Comment by livngfragrance

Molly,(see I got it right this time)

The answer to your understanding lies between 2:30am and 3:30 am blocked off in your daily planner as sleep.
